Our Philosophy
AI is an immensely transformative new technology that is rapidly evolving. Similar to past technological innovations there is a certain degree of hype impacting the narrative, but the long term consequences of any new technology are impossible to ignore; least of all for businesses. Businesses that successfully adopt new technologies have historically outpaced and out performed their competitors who have refused to adapt. AI will be no different.
The Canadian Federal Government's 'AI for All' strategy released in June 2026 highlights the need for increased AI adoption among Canadian businesses, and for Canadians to have greater control over how AI is used in their day-to-day operations. As a result, the government is allocating ~$2.3B in funding for AI initiatives over the next decade. The government's messaging is clear: They want Canadian businesses to find ways to increase their productivity by implementing AI solutions they own, so that homegrown innovation benefits Canadians first.
Too many things these days are sold as a subscription. We believe that Canadian businesses should own the solutions they use, that your proprietary data is an asset that should never be sent to private entities in foreign countries, and that we as Canadians ensure the things we built, are done so ethically and responsibly.
